 We also strongly believe it is important to support your local business community. That's why the Flatlander staff stays actively involved with several business associations in Bloomington-Normal. In addition, we have a long-standing relationship with the McLean County Chamber of Commerce. Dick Eikenberg, President of Flatlander Industries, served as President of the Chamber from 2004-2005. Dick also helped create the Employers Coalition for Health Insurance (ECHI), which enables over 350 local businesses to provide insurance for their staffs (over 4,000 employees).
